Halogen-free and Flame-retardant Instrumentation Cable for Nuclear Power Plant

1)Standard:

  It is manufactured according to Q/3204AVX001 (refer to BS 5308,IEC60502,JIS 3605) Standard.The flame-retardant cables comply with GB /T 18380.3 (IEC60332-3) Standard.The low- smoke and low-halogen cables comply with IEC60754-1,GB /T17651 (IEC61034) Standards.The low- smoke and halogen-free cables comply with IEC60754-2,GB/T17650(IEC61034) Standards.  

2) Application

It is one of special cable used for computer system. As the urgent concerned product of modern industry structure, it is widely used for sign transmitting and controlling of the enterprise and scientific department in the field of energy, metallurgy and petroleum and chemical industry. Especially in computer distributed control system. It can transmit various analogue and digital signals of testing, controlling in production process.

3) Properties

1 Rated voltage: 300/500V2 The Max. Permitted continuous operating temperature of conductor:PE insulated cable: 70°C.XLPE insulated cable: 90°C.PVC insulated cable: 70°C, 90°C, 105°C(according to the grade of heat proof after the type).Low-smoke halogen-free Polyolefin (HFPO) insulated cable: 90°C.3 The Min. laying temperature is:-20°C for PE sheath cable;0°C for PVC or HFPO sheath cable.It should be pre-heated if it is below the Min. laying temperature.4 The permitted bending radius:No less than 12 times of the overall diameter of the cable for which has armor or wrapped shield.5 Flame characteristicsThe flame retardant cable (/SA) can pass the test according to GB /T 18380.3 (IEC60332-3): Test method on electrical wires or cables under fire conditions Part 3 : Test on bunched wires and cables.The low-smoke low-halogen flame retardant cable (/SB) also can pass test according to IEC60754-1,GB /T17651 (IEC61034): Test method on electrical wires or cables under fire conditions Part : Measurement on smoke density of wire or cables. The insulation and sheath material of the cable should be tested as per IEC60754-1: the HCl content of the separated out gas in the firing test is no more than 100mg/g.The insulation and sheath material of the low-smoke halogen-free flame retardant cable (/SC) should be tested according IEC60754-2, which pH is no less 4.3 and conductivity should be less than 10μs/mm.
